HURDZ HEMP HORSE BEDDING !

WHY HURDZ HEMP BEDDING IS THE BEST

HURDZ HEMP was founded by horse owners and animal lovers looking for a healthier and safer bedding solution. After years of putting up with the dust and smell of traditional pine and straw bedding, we set out to find something better.

We wanted a bedding material that would keep our barn cleaner, fresher and our horses breathing easier.

  • Transitioning to Hurdz Hemp bedding offers an efficient and cost-effective solution for your stall. Here's how to get started:

    • Bale Coverage: A single 33lb bale of Hurdz Hemp typically covers approximately 10-11 cubic feet or 30 Square feet 2 inches deep.

      * Stall Size: For a standard 12x12 stall with soft or rubber flooring, you'll need approximately 5-6 bags of Hurdz Hemp to establish an adequate bedding base.

      *
Maintenance: Add one bag of Hurdz Hemp every four days, depending on your horse's needs and stall conditions. Remember, you won't require the same volume of hemp bedding as you would with traditional wood bedding. In this case, less truly is more!

Make the most of Hurdz Hemp bedding to provide your horse with a comfortable and efficient stall environment.

  • HURDZ HEMP produces little if any dust. Using hemp for animal bedding is safer for you and for your animals.Veterinarians and farriers recommend hemp horse bedding for allergy sufferers. Horse and humans alike will appreciate less exposure to particulates that trigger allergies. HURDZ HEMP produces significantly fewer dust particles than straw, wood shavings. Many brands of pine and straw bedding claim to be dust-free, but the reality is they breakdown easily in the stall producing excessive amounts of dust. Hemp maintains its integrity resulting in less dust.

  • HURDZ HEMP traps odors associated with ammonia smells in horse stalls, chicken houses, and anywhere pets produce pesky odors. Tiny pores let out air while holding decomposing matter in. Pockets keep smells due to rot and mildew trapped inside. These pockets are also why hemp is so absorbent. The hemp is full of odor and fluid-catching pockets! The pores and open structure provide airflow on top and traps unpleasant smells in the bottom. The hemp bedding stays dry and odorless.

  • HURDZ HEMP absorbs four times its weight, making it an excellent choice for horse bedding and more. Hemp has a smooth outer layer and a spongy interior. HURDZ HEMP fibers, like bamboo, are segmented, adding another obstacle when moisture tries to escape. The structure has a natural fold on one end as well as many crevasses, leaving moisture trapped. HURDZ HEMP absorbs at the approximate rate of 7.43mg/min high and dissipates at 12.6mg/min. You’ll spend less time and less money cleaning up after your animals.

  • HURDZ bedding to use in the stalls. This bedding is made out of the hemp plant and is very hypoallergenic. This means if your horse has severe allergies, hemp bedding can provide them with relief, HURDZ HEMP is naturally hypoallergenic.

  • Hurdz hemp is naturally pest-resistant and discourages all kinds of insects, like mites, flies, and other critters.
